Our society offers a varied medical and health prospects to people all around the world. With more concern and importance placed on earning a living for maintaining society’s high standard of living and splurging leaves no room for medical and health concerns in our society. Life expectancy being reduced for both male and female due to life styles offered by our society is a matter of grave concern. Hectic work schedules in a commercialized society have increased the stress levels of many. With more commercialization and globalization, these issues only seem to get worse.
Most individuals in a society ignore their medical and health issues, mainly because they
feel pressurized to maintain their current life styles or to support their family members and be able to provide bread on the table. This has escalated the health and medical issues, like untimely death due to unhealthy eating and living, almost no exercise for people who work, since they get too tired after work. There’s almost no time to play and relationships are often strained. While health and medical issues are on the rise in our society, it is up to us as individuals to look after our health and live healthy and fitful lives

Our society is riddled with scores of issues; it has an issue with itself, an issue with caste, an issue with race and so on. The most worrying aspect of our society today is that it is not capable of handling issues of children. These children’s issues in society have been present for a long time, with new issues regarding children coming in light day after day.
Our society is faced with issues concerning children like; child abuse - which is more
rampant in third world as well as first world countries, child molestation – hundreds of children daily get abused and molested by their family members, often these children never come out of it alive and there are no initiatives taken by our society to keep the same in check, child labor – most third world manufacturing countries like India and China indulge in human right violations by allowing child labor to prosper, they fail to keep child labor in check, imparting free basic education to children is one of the biggest concerns of modern society with more and more children ending up in foster care. Special care centers for blind and handicapped children are also decreasing day by day with societies getting richer and greedier.

Our society is a product of hundreds of years of civilization and human socializing. Race and caste have been ingrained in the roots of our society even before the Romans and Egyptians civilizations. Race and caste is what’s breaking up today’s society and causing civil and other wars. Races and castes just dissect our society and even bring our meek society under the microscope.
Race and caste today have formed an abyss in our society. Race and caste lead to discrimination and racism. Even after World War II, during which Germany’s Third Reich had ousted and atrociously killed hundred thousands of Jews; we still haven’t progressed much, morally. Discrimination based on racism still
exists in firms and professional work places. Race and caste are still used as excuses for Holy wars and invasions. Although just being a single planet, full of life and being just one planet filled with so much potential and life, we still try to find differences within ourselves for no cause. We still lose millions of life on grounds of race hate and caste discrimination. Apart from race and caste, our society also indulges in sex discrimination. Our society’s outlook towards the whole human race should change; we should consider ourselves as one. Easier said than done; I guess.
